Welcome to the site dedicated to the "Two times Seven 2007" Expedition, whose goal is to ascend two seven-thousand-metre peaks of Tajikistan Pamir in summer 2007:
Peak Korzenhevskaya (7,105)
and Peak Ismail Samani, world-renown as Peak Communism (7,495).

Peak Korzenhevskaya, third highest peak of Pamir after Peak Communism and Peak Lenin. Although slightly lower in altitude than the latter it gets climbed more seldom due to significant technical difficulty.

Peak Ismail Samani, is the highest peak of Pamir and all former Soviet Union. The peak is home to many glaciers, although it is situated in desolate, semi-desert surrounding. The rock is poor and the getting there rather hard but being the highest, Peak Communism is still being visited quite often. First ascent in 1933.

Please feel invited to find out about our expedition schedule and sponsoring opportunity.
